The Humminbird fishfinder 535 is great for recreational anglers. It is a small easy to use fishfinder. The large screen on the 535 provides a sharp clear image that’s going to help you find the fish. Even though the device is easy to use it still has lots of functionality and advanced features.
If you’re looking to make the catch without breaking your budget then the Humminbird 535 is just what you are looking for. You might say it’s a budget catch that won’t break your budget. Even though it’s a low-cost device it has some really powerful features like a sonar beam optimized for coverage that gives you precise details of the bottom at up to 800 feet. Of course that is the manufacturers specification and several real-world users have reported less success than 800 feet.
Even though the Humminbird 535 is a small unit that doesn’t take up a lot of space in your gear or on your boat it’s got some great features. For example it offers real-time sonar that helps you capture the action below the surface at up to 40 times per second. To help bring this detail into better focus it offers sonar echo enhancement so you can see even the smallest details.
The high-resolution screen offers a 5 inch LCD that offers 16 levels of grayscale. It is set up to display several configurations to show several different presentations in white line, high contrast, bottom black or structure ID bottom. This gives you some flexibility in choosing the way you want to see your screen displayed.
Now your boat may not go 70 mph but if it could the Hummingbird 535 is capable of producing an accurate display even at those speeds. If you’re interested in finding hot and cold spots in the water this device also includes water temperature readings to help you locate those areas.
To help you navigate the 535 it includes an x-press menu system. It is designed to help you access all the features with fewer clicks. The device comes with several different zoom levels from 2x through 8x. It also has a nice feature of being able to record your elapsed time, distance, and average speed if you purchase the optional speed sensor. It also offers a backlit LCD so if you like to go night fishing you will still be able to see the screen.
Again the Humminbird 535 is a small compact device which makes it easy to take with you just about anywhere. In addition it has a very simple and easy mounting system which makes it easy to take the device from one boat to another.
This fishfinder is built tough is waterproof and even floats. No need to stress about accidentally dropping it in the water, just fish it out, put it on the mount and go get some fish.
