So you wanna loose weight and build muscle? Often the idea of using supplements comes to mind. There are so many nutritional supplements on the market these days but it’s healthy to exercise a bit of skepticism.
Lot’s of the weight loss pills are available on the market these days are simply caffeine filled wastes of money. Although speeding up your metabolism is a very important part of burning fat, caffeine is not the best, nor even all that effective a way to do the job. As you’ll see in the next chapter on Exercises and Training Programs, there’s a much better (and cheaper!) way to stimulate your metabolism.
Just remember that the most important thing is to eat a clean diet. This is something the fitness community is often talking about, and it’s a good way to start getting your body going in the right direction. It basically means that you should be eating nutrient dense fruit and vegetables.
Simply feed your body the elements it needs to repair itself from the workouts you’ve been doing. We all know that eating foods like fried chicken and take away fish and chips is not going to give you the quality vitamins and nutrients you need. RC hobbies are not just popular with children but there are many adults enjoying this pastime as well. Many of us will have heard the term RC but not all of us understand what it means. In this article we hope to provide a further explanation as to what RC is.
The term RC stands for “remote control” and allows you to control one device with another without them being attached to each other. The first actual remote control device to be introduced in 1903 at the Paris of Academy of Science was the Telekino invented by Leonardo Torres Quevada. This was a small robot that was able to execute certain commands given to it that were transmitted using electromagnetic waves.
However, today many of the remote control devices which we have in our homes such as for controlling the TV use an infrared light beam. It is this beam of light which causes the target device to carry out certain functions. But these devices are somewhat limited and need to be directly in line with the target object in order to work correctly and can only be used over short distances.
When it comes to devices used for controlling objects in RC hobbies it is radio frequency waves that are used to transmit the commands. Unlike infrared beams these devices don’t need to be in sight of the object that they are controlling and can be used from some distance away.

The simplest way to correct this is to open the photo in Photoshop and select Image> Adjustments> Shadow/Highlight (this is for CS-only, for pre-CS look below). You will notice an immediate and probably extreme change in your photo, but just use this setting as a starting point. Photoshop default settings are often way over the top. Simply adjust the Amount Slider and the Tonal Width Slider in both the Shadows and the Highlights until you find just the right balance. That’s all there is to it!
Fixing Overexposed Photos, Pre-CS - The Layer Sandwich Trick If you do not have CS, use the following steps to help you reach similar results.
Step 1 - New Layer Open your photo and choose Layer> Duplicate Layer to make a copy of the Background Layer, or by dragging it to the New Layer Icon at the bottom of the Layers palette.
Step 2 - Change The Blend Mode In the Layers palette change the Blend Mode of the new layer from Normal to Multiply. This will darken the photo uniformly.
Step 3 - Repeat Repeat the complete process again. Create a new layer, change the blend mode to multiply, and take notice of the result. Continue doing this until you go from “it’s almost perfect” to “what have I done!”
