Elon Musk took one step closer to fulfilling his dream of commercializing space flight today with the successful launch of his SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket. The rocket, equipped with a demo satellite payload, was launched from Kennedy Space Center. The Falcon 9 has the potential to become the main ferrier of supplies to the International Space Station. SpaceX has reportedlly spent over $400 million to develop it and related components.
