Boston Celtics Beat LA Lakers 103-94; Tie Series at 1-1
The Boston Celtics have won game two of the NBA Championship. The best of seven series is now tied at 1-1. The LA Lakers had a chance to pull within one point after a controversial call where Pau Gosal was ruled to have touched the ball last but the replay appeared to show Kevin Garnett touching the ball last. Regardless, the Lakers missed some key plays in he last minute and the stage is now set for another classic series between these two historic rivals.

Justin Rose Gets First PGA Win
Justin Rose captured his first PGA victory today at the Memorial Tournament beating Rickie Fowler by 3 strokes. This was the European's first win after many years of close misses. Tiger Woods finished 6 under par and barely in the top 20 after a shaky start. He shot an even-par 72 on the last day.

Latest BP Oil Spill Fix Yields 6000 Barrels in 24 Hours
British Petroleums latest attempt at capping their Gulf of Mexico oil spill has reportedly collected 6000 barrels of oil in the last 24 hours. Efforts are continuing to increase the amount of captured oil after President Obama scolded BP officials in his latest visit to Louisiana.

Elon Musk took one step closer to fulfilling his dream of commercializing space flight today with the successful launch of his SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket. The rocket, equipped with a demo satellite payload, was launched from Kennedy Space Center. The Falcon 9 has the potential to become the main ferrier of supplies to the International Space Station. SpaceX has reportedlly spent over $400 million to develop it and related components.

BP In No Danger of Going Bankrupt
Despite mounting oil cleanup and legal liability costs, British Petroleum is reportedly in no danger of going bankrupt. Early estimates of costs stemming from the Deepwater Horizon catastrophe of $5.5 Billion dollars would not come close to their yearly revenue totals even if costs were to quadruple according to some investment analysts.
