Maradona Pays Price for Refusing to Share Press Podium with Germany's Mueller
Germany made Argentina and its coach Diego Maradona pay dearly today in World Cup play, blowing out the team that had become a tournament favorite by the unheard of score of 4-0. The spectators which included Leonardo DiCaprio and Mick Jagger, were treated to a coming of age story as the youthful Germany team put on a clinic for an emotional Argentina team that looked scattered and slow from the beginning of the match. Germany scored in the 6 minute of play and never looked back. Now its on to Spain in the semifinal and Maradona will probably continue to refuse to share the press podium with the "ball boy" and team of "ball boys" who sent him home from the 2010 World Cup.
